Top 5 Social Apps on Android in Denmark Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 has seen interesting trends for the top five social apps on the Android platform in Denmark. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Reddit.

TikTok saw a notable fluctuation in weekly revenue, starting strong in January with highs around $33.6K but dipping to about $15.5K in mid-February. Downloads for TikTok showed a downward trend, decreasing from about 3K at the start of the quarter to 1.6K by the end of March. Active user numbers also saw a general decline from approximately 414K to 399K throughout the quarter.

Instagram maintained relatively stable weekly revenue, peaking at $93 in early January and late February. Download numbers were fairly consistent, albeit with a slight decline, starting at around 1.8K and ending at 1.5K. Active users for Instagram remained steady, averaging around 450K throughout the quarter.

Facebook experienced varied weekly revenue, peaking at $1.9K at the end of January but declining to $544 by the end of March. Downloads saw an increase towards the end of the quarter, starting at 1.6K and reaching 1.8K. Active users remained robust, consistently above 1M.

X showed a late increase in revenue, reaching a peak of $264 in early March. Download figures fluctuated, peaking at 1.4K in early January and later stabilizing around 1K by the end of March. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, averaging around 125K.

Reddit had modest revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at $83 in early January. Downloads were fairly steady, starting at 773 and rising to 859 by the end of March. Active user numbers saw minor fluctuations but remained around the 109K mark.
